    1.2  Flexibility
Rules are rules except when they are broken, but all members should remember when it is their turn to organise a ROT. Updated by: thomo on: 5/23/2004

    Article 2 - Misconduct
    Updated by: Basky on: 8/10/2004
    2.1  Non-attendance
Punishments to cover grave misconduct such as missing a meeting are as follows: In the event that a member cannot make a meeting a panel of judges will sit to review the reason. This shall take place at the meeting that is missed by the offender. Updated by: mikebate on: 4/26/2004
    2.2  Acceptable lame excuses
The only acceptable reason will be a clash with a business event or holiday, otherwise the no-show will be penalised by the purchase of a full round of ales just before he buys a round anyway. Updated by: Basky on: 2/19/2004
    2.3  Benefits
The absence of the offender will also be celebrated by the remaining members whose rounds will be less expensive. Updated by: Basky on: 2/19/2004
    2.4  Transport
If the missing offender also had the responsibility of driving other members then he shall be penalised by the purchase of a round of Onion Bagees at the selected Asian cuisine venue the next time he attends. Updated by: Basky on: 2/19/2004
    2.5  Impact on Rota
Given the above, the missing of a meeting shall not affect the venue rota. Updated by: Basky on: 2/20/2004
    2.6  Updating the Website
Any regular member is free to submit reviews of any Ruby Tuesday. However, if you are hosting you must post a review by the end of the week. Failure to do this will incur the usual penalties of buying rounds or compulsory purchase of outstanding Rubyontuesday merchandise. Updated by: Basky on: 5/16/2004
    2.7  Payment
A collective payment of £10 each shall be taken at the start of festivities. Any excess remaining after indulging in the liquid element of the event shall be transfered towards the bill for the solids element of the event. Updated by: mikebate on: 8/10/2004

    Article 3 - Special Rules
    Updated by: Basky on: 5/16/2004
    3.1  Zippy's special rules
None of the rules of the Constitution shall apply to Zippy, he can change rules, break rules, or ignore rules as he wishes, or with the wind, whichever is more contrary. Updated by: thomo on: 5/23/2004

    Article 4 - Geography
    Updated by: Basky on: 5/16/2004
    4.1  Country people
Guests or members who live outside the M25 shall be considered immigrants when attending fine inner-city venues. They must carry upon them a dictionary so they can understand normal conversation and the extended vocabulary of the city gentry. Social acceptance of said immigrants will be improved if they present the previous week's edition of Country Life and can prove they can afford one of the advertised residences.
